Our Data

All movie and actor information comes from The Movie Database (TMDB), a community-built movie and TV database. We use TMDB's API to gather actor birth dates, movie release dates, cast lists, character names, and photography.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

How We Determine Character Ages

While actor ages are straightforward to calculate from birth dates and release years, character ages require careful research. We manually investigate each character's age using canonical sources — screenplays, official companion guides, creator interviews, fan wikis, and dialogue or visual clues within the productions themselves.

Every entry carries a confidence rating from C1 to C5 that tells you exactly how reliable the age information is:

C5
Canonical The character's age is explicitly stated in the production — in dialogue, on-screen text, or official materials.
C4
Derived Calculated from specific dates or events established in the story.
C3
Strong secondary source Based on a script, novelization, or direct creator interview.
C2
Inferred Estimated from context clues — a plausible range rather than an exact age.
C1
Unknown No reliable age information was found for this character.

Where possible, each entry links directly to its source so you can verify the information yourself. Spot an error or have a better source? Use the "Report an issue" button on any page.
